Hello all, here we are at Wednesday again. Well I did have a tidy up once I finished the card I was working on last week, so I have included a photo of my tidy desk, taken on Sunday, to prove it was tidy :o) and also of my desk today, this is me trying to get inspiration for a Wedding card! and if you hadn't guessed by all the stuff on my desk I'm struggling a little :o)
I am a little better organised now, my Mum was throwing away an old coffee table so I have put it under the drawers that I have by my desk, it makes it much easier for me to get in the lower drawers and also gives a little storage area underneath. I picked up some little drawers in the pound shop just after Xmas and have just got around to putting all my gems, pearls and charms in them which has free'd up one of my larger drawers for other "stuff". I also swapped my chair for a stool which was at Mum's house, it's much more comfy as it's padded rather than my wooden chair and also I can reach the floor behind me more easily!! why would I need to reach the floor behind me you may well ask..... well, it's because when my desk is in it's less tidy state, paper pads etc end up on the floor behind me :o)
Thanks for stopping by, I'll be taking a look at the list of desks at Julia's later on. Have a great day x

WOW April looks like you are into cleaning and organizing this week! I love lots of little drawers to store stuff in and have a lot truth be told. I also like to repurpose stuff so things aren't wasted. Have a great week and thanks for sharing! Vickie #27
What a great desk today, the embellishments look great in such wonderful colours. I'm sure your wedding card will come together now that you have a super comfy seat. Have a great Wednesday, Laura

I love seeing where other people craft and where people hide things etc. I've just bought some of those Xcut dies too - they are great aren't they? Lovely lot of gems and bits there.

Loving the clean desk but perhaps you tidied your mojo away too, have you looked for it in the new drawers, lol!! The old coffee table is a great idea, much more ergonomic.

I'm like you have a big tidy up and then start another card/project and it's all back out and boxes and other stuff perched everywhere. I tidied up my envelopes today- boring. Happy WOYWW. Anne x
I like what you did with the coffee table to get the bins up off the ground. I put stuff I don't access much in my lower drawers, because what a pain to get to them. You are spot on with your solution and you get some room underneath to boot. Good luck with the wedding card design. You have some good stuff to play with for it.
So many people seem to be tidying and re-organising thier rooms, love what you have done to yours, the draws are a great bargain from £1 shop. A wonderfully inspiring desk full of crafty goodies, hope you get the wedding card designed soon, hope you lovely week hugs Lou E #82

Hi April, yes! I've had a few emails, but mostly from people who might not have English as their first language! (so they're forgiven!)But in a way, that sort of gets me motivated again, even though it does look like we may be off to stay with sis-in-law- again, just to help her through this bad time. Your craft room does look so inviting, unlike mine at the moment, which is just filled will everything piled up and not put away for weeks! Love those nestie shapes, I think I might treat myself to some new ones! Have a great crafty week
((Lyn))
Happy WOYWW
OK April, turns out I can read all your words on the PC, but the blimmin ipad only likes the HTML from the background, so all I get is headings. Weird. Tedious!
Loving your improvements, amazing what a difference these little things can make really. Bet youve got the wedding card sussed by now.
