What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday?? WOYWW??!!!!

Hello all, I'm sure last Wednesday was only yesterday.... anyway, here is my desk today.

I've nearly finished the puppy card that was in the making last week, it's just sat there with the glue drying on the rosette. I've made a quick Get Well card as my Mum needed one for a friend and she was finding it hard to find a suitable one for a man, he is ex RAF so I thought a spitfire would work well.

As you can see I'm trying to make an envo-box type thing.... I've made 2 now the first was too small and the second was too big!!! Grrrr it's the measurements for scoring the diagonal lines that I just can't get my head around for some reason! I ran out of time to have another go so hopefully my next attempt will be right!

I'll be heading over to Julia's a little later to take a peek at a few desks, have a good day :o) x

The puppy dog card looks lovely and that rosette seems to set it off to perfection.
Like the Spitfire too.

had to laugh at you scratching your head over the diagonal measurements - I do the same when I have to fit a circle into the bottom of a tube, like when I make the desk tidies for instance. No matter how much I measure, I never get the circumference of the circle to match the bottom edge of the fabric rectangle. I've been trying to remember the geometry formula I must have learned at school!! Ha, like that's gonna happen..... :)

Fab cards, I use Crafter's Companions Envelobox board for my envelopes as it's so easy. But of course it helps if the card is cut right first! Hope you get yours ok in the end. Take care, thanks for sharing & enjoy this WOYWW. Zo xx 86

The spitfire card is most excellent! Any guy would be pleased to receive it. The puppy card is sweet too. I'm trying not to covet your scoring tool. I'm good with the one I have. Really! ReallY!
