What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? WOYWW??

Hello all, this week my desk is looking pretty boring, I'm planning on covering the box with the canvass type fabric which I am in the middle of cutting into sections, I then plan to ink up some card to make edging for the corners etc so it looks like an old case. That's the plan anyway, we'll see how it turns out!

You can also spy a new Memory Box die over to the left hand side, naughty me! I've liked it for ages so decided to treat myself :o)

That's it for this week, I'll be heading over to Julia's now to take a peek at some more desks. Thanks for stopping by. x

Oh almost forgot, is anyone going to the Summer Crafting Show in Doncaster this weekend? I can't decide whether to go or not yet, I went last year on the Saturday morning and it was just sooooo busy I couldn't really get to see that much! There were lots of lovely stalls though!

The altered box sound interesting - you'll have to keep us posted with the progress!
You're so right about the possibility of me having bead addiction..but I am going to recycle a lot of my very nice jewellery that I no longer wear before I launch into buying lots of new beads! And I also want to see how they sell on my stand before I really plunge into it.
On the other hand, I might see a tub of sparkly goodness one day and dive right in!!!!

Hi April, I went last year too but it was too busy for me, will probably regret giving it a miss this year. You will love that die, it is sooo gorgeous and delicate and looks great if you use glitter card - be warned it is addictive! Looking foward to seeing the box when altered. Crafty hugs, Anne x #54

Just a word of advice April re the die - I find with this make I usually have to add a shim and put it through several times, well worth the effort though. I'd practice on some scrap first! x

ooh your box sounds like it will be fab! You must show us when it is finished. You could go to the show, go to the less busy stands first and go back to the busy stands when they are less busy later in the day. Make a note of where you need to return to or you might forget!! Have fun if you go xx

Maybe it's just me, but crafters in the United Kingdom seem to have so many more fun events than crafters in the U.S. Enjoy, and happy WOYWW! Sandy at #152
